What is wear plate made of?

1、 What is the material of wear plate
The wear-resistant plate is steel, and its main components are low-carbon steel plate and alloy wear-resistant layer, in which the alloy wear-resistant layer accounts for 1/2~1/3 of the whole plate thickness; Because the main chemical composition is chromium, which can reach 20%~30% of the content of all materials, its wear resistance is very good.
2、 Characteristics of wear plate
1. Impact resistance: The impact resistance of the wear-resistant plate is very good. Even if there is a very high drop in the process of conveying materials, it will not cause too much damage to the wear-resistant plate.
2. Heat resistance: In general, wear plates below 600 ℃ can be used normally. If we add some vanadium and molybdenum when making wear plates, then the high temperature below 800 ℃ is no problem.
3. Corrosion resistance: The wear plate contains a large amount of chromium, so the corrosion resistance of the wear plate is excellent, and there is no need to worry about corrosion.
4. Cost performance ratio: the price of wear plate is 3-4 times that of ordinary steel plate, but the service life of wear plate is 10 times longer than that of ordinary steel plate, so its cost performance ratio is relatively high.
5. Convenient processing: the weldability of the wear-resistant plate is very strong, and it can also be easily bent into various shapes, which is very convenient for processing.
3、 Application of wear plate
In many factories, wear plates are used as conveyor belts. Because of their strong impact resistance, they will not deform even if the height difference of the conveyed items is very large. Moreover, because of their good corrosion resistance, they can maintain a good service life no matter what is conveyed.
